 |  | Raoul de Longpre (1843-1911)Raoul de Longpre was born in Lyon, France in 1859, then the center of the French textile industry. Raoul was the younger brother of the better-known Paul de Longpre who immigrated to the U.S. in the 1890’s. Raoul, like his brother, was a renowned painter of floral still lifes and most often painted in oil on paper.
